In the mountain range to the south of the Lost Castle we have built a  Minka or farmhouse. The design is heavily inspired by the Gassho-zukuri style houses found in the mountainous Shirakawa-go Gifu Prefecture and Gokayama in Toyama Prefecture. The very high-peaked thick straw roof makes a wonderful view together with mountain terrain. The design helps to quickly dispatch rain and snow from the roof lessening the weight of the roof, letting the straw dry out quickly therefore stopping it from rot.
